The KONTRA-Trio In 1992 Bischof, Mejer and Bachmann formed the KONTRA-Trio to concentrate on low wind instruments and "deep" music. The three wind contrabasses are used as sources for acoustic phenomena from the primal to High-Tech-Sound, from the very low register to astonishing heights.
